  • I hiked through deep snow to take this photo of Bryce Canyon National Park in winter.  The glowing sandstone hoodoos stand out from the winter landscape.

  • I hiked through deep snow and set up 4x5 view camera to photograph Bryce Canyon in winter.  I waited for  these spectacular sandstone formations covered in snow to light up and glow against the shadows from the hoodoos before I took my picture.
